Life back to normal

I think I've heaved approximately sixteen happy sighs in the last hour or so. My wonderfully handy hubby fixed my washer (that was previously leaking onto the carpet due to a worn out pump), so I've begun the process of purging our bedroom of the vistas of dirty laundry. Seriously. I could see Canada from atop the pile of denim.

On top of that, I finally got my act together and cleaned my living room and kitchen (floors included...WOW!) last night, so I don't grimace every time I walk through the door. My home is actually a relaxing place to be!

Adding to all this wonderfulness, I get to sleep in an hour later than any day this past week, because LICHEN'S BACK!!! Words cannot express how excited I was to see her this afternoon. My happy dance rivaled Charlie's. Not really, but in my head it did. I was pirouetting and cartwheeling like no one's business. And of course, she brought her two darlings back with her, both of which, I'm fairly certain grew half a foot while they were gone. And considering they're 4 and 18 months, that's a pretty big percentage.

Lastly, Tanner and I recently decided against buying a house we have been looking at, which has taken a whole lot of stress off my mind that I didn't even know was there.

Oh, and the cherry on top of this sundae of rainbows and butterflies? I didn't have to make supper tonight! Tanner had a work thing, so he had leftovers, and I'm following suit. Cheerio, good chap!

So, basically, the world is rosy right about now. Except for the snow. That can go crawl in a hole and die. Yay life!

How's everyone else's Monday? Mine's surprisingly chipper...

Oh, and Charlie's doing great, everyone...he's learning loads of AWEsome stuff, like how to *gasp* socialize! So far, there have been no more dog park incidences, thank heavens.
